"Eat with Your Eyes"

Not every project is built around a single occasion. This installation was created for a long-standing neighborhood restaurant - a place where every day carries its own rhythm of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and where atmosphere is experienced continuously rather than in moments.

The goal was simple: introduce a sense of renewal without disrupting the character that made the space beloved. Rather than redesigning, we layered in planted compositions that would quietly transform how the space is felt.

Sculptural succulents were selected for their durability and form, allowing each piece to hold its shape and presence over time. Vertical cactus forms bring height and structure, while trailing elements soften edges and create movement. Ground layers of stone and compact plantings provide contrast and finish, giving each vessel a composed, intentional base.

The containers themselves were chosen to complement the interior - earthy, substantial forms that feel grounded within the space, paired with glazed vessels that introduce moments of depth and reflection.

Placed throughout the restaurant, the installations act as visual anchors, guiding the eye and subtly shaping the experience of the room. They do not compete with the food or the energy of the space - they support it.

The result is an environment where the atmosphere feels considered and alive - a place where, quite naturally, you eat with your eyes first.

We design planted environments for spaces that are lived in daily - bringing consistency, structure, and quiet impact over time.
