"The Architect"

This piece was created as a custom installation for a private event hosted by an architect, designed to anchor a long banquet table with a sense of structure, movement, and quiet complexity.

Constructed from hand-assembled twigs and balanced stone, the form extends horizontally across the table in a branching, geometric rhythm. The composition references both natural growth patterns and architectural frameworks, allowing the piece to feel at once organic and deliberate.

Tillandsia and select dried botanical elements are integrated throughout the structure, softening the linear framework and introducing moments of texture and subtle color. At the base, a low landscape of moss, succulents, and sculptural plant forms grounds the installation, creating a layered environment rather than a single object.

The result is a centerpiece that does not simply decorate the table, but defines it — establishing a visual field that guests experience as they gather, move, and interact within the space.

Each installation is designed in response to its setting, with scale, materials, and composition tailored to the environment and the nature of the event.

Centerpiece for Banquet Table

it all starts with a concept...

assembled on site...

The funkier elements, the better.

ALAKAZAM!

The challenge was with only a small amount of table space to do it as most of the table would be occupied with food. The result was to create a small base and levitate the rest!
